My latest project is arriving this afternoon. Dash and airbags need changing in this one. Would anyone be interested in seeing a video of how to change them?

Always brings a tear to my eye seeing the volares.

Gave it a good jetwash, followed by a hand wash, G3 cutting followed by a good wax. Apart from the obvious it looks like it's just come out of the showroom. Shame it wont start! [emoji51]

Yes it is, so is the bonnet. You would never know. Haven't fitted it properly as I still need a top reinforcer bar which I'm getting Friday.

It's really nice seeing you bring these back to life such a waste of a car if it's 'written off' for only cosmetic reasons.

I hope there will always be a reputable source of parts (in light of what happened with the front being stolen off another 500). What a nightmare for people just doing the right thing as you are, knowing that there are people out there undermining the spare parts business

Glad you solved the ignition switch problem without having to change all the locks and ECUs

Yes, I was relieved that if wasn't too grief but my parts guy did the ignition for me. I don't really understand how he got the shear bolts out but then got them back in again. He used a hammer and chisel. I was making him a cup of tea at the time.

Windscreen is being done on Thursday. Then I just have to change the airbag ecu, touch up a bit of paint and it's done. Turned round in less than 3 weeks.

I need to find another white one as I already have all the parts I'm likely to need.

Car is all done. Going up for sale tomorrow.
