Today, believe it or not I got in my Nissan Juke at 3.30am and drove nearly 300 miles to just South of Newcastle to collect a drivers door and bonnet in white. When I got there I found out that a Fiat 500 door doesn't fit into the back of a Nissan Juke!

I managed to damage the top of it forcing it in. Hopefully I will be able to repair it.

I still have to get it out yet[emoji30]

What speed where you driving?! 300 miles in less than 3 hours?!


Oh my bad, am not pm.

Long drive took me about 4 1/2 hours each way.

You're right there. I've had doors in my old Ford Cmax before, no problem. Never gave it a thought that I wouldn't be able to get it in the Juke.

its only the outside skin and my new dent puller hammer has improved it. A bit more work still needed but it's not as bad as I first thought.

Nissan Juke, a Tardis in reverse.....

I love my Juke, it's really comfy, high seating position, reliable Japanese engineering and it goes like stink.

Diesel flavour?

I was surprised at how small the Juke is inside. Incredibly fierce heated seats though, thought I was being cooked.

No, had enough of diesal. 1.6 Acenta Sport Dig T. 190 bhp.

Some years ago, Mrs Mick F was working locally, and the daughter of the business owner needed to get to a music lesson with her tuba - in its box.

The only car available to the family was an Escort, and the boxed tuba wouldn't go in, so Mrs Mick F suggested she'd take her and her instrument. Everyone laughed ................... except Mrs Mick F.

We had a Mini Clubman Estate in those days, and with the back seat down, the tuba (in its box) slid in easily. It slid in so easily, that the daughter had to keep hold of it to slop it sliding around.
