Image1501149457.379001.jpgThis is the back of my Popular head unit. There seems to be a spare plug socket but not a small bevlike you see on the cheap eBay aux leads. Is there a cheap way of getting a jack socket connected to this.

Sorry I didn't put this on one of the other threads but it wouldn't allow me to attach a photo.

That long plug is three seperate plugs blue green and yellow. The blue is CD changer the green is blue and me and the yellow is where the cheap ebay aux lead goes. It depends on the manufacturer of the radio iirc and if you press CD whether AUX comes up on the screen. My BOSCH radio doesn't come up with this option and AUX cable did not work.

In the below picture which seems the same for the Blaupunkt and Bosch head unit there's two "switching " signal pins I wonder if these need and input of some sort V+ or earthing to enable the input/output? Just under B for booster and bottom left 1 in.

Think it's left (cd changer audio input pins) in picture blue and me is centre and would guess cd changer left ( with the data pins) can't remember was almost 2 years ago, but if aux does not come up when cd is pressed(twice) then the lead will not work anyway, would be interested to see what the switch pin does, maybe a line out remote amplifier signal on the right with audio out (line out to amp)
