A lovely driving car that appears to go much better than her 107 did even though the engines have similar outputs.

I've said this lots of times, but peak power output isn't much of a guide to driveability; it's how that power is delivered across the rev band that makes the difference.

Folks buying cars these days seem to be obsessed by numbers; manufacturers have responded by making the numbers ever more meaningless in the quest to have the best paper figures.

And I'd agree; apart from the earlier Euro6 glitches, the 1.2 is a fine engine.

The only strange thing about this engine is if you pull away gently and then try to give it a tiny bit more gas it then revs up very quickly almost like the throttle pedal is too sensitive.
