I got my first 500 on 29th Feb 2008 and nine years later its time to say goodbye to my second one.

100k miles, more hits than Paris Hilton's website it still runs brilliantly, but a very significant change in personal circumstances means I need a car with rear doors.

Panda just doesn't do it for me, so I am off for an Indian.

I still have my Cinq, so still a Fiat owner.

Cheers

I'll have to look it up!
Coincidentally I've also just got rid of my 6 year old much loved Lounge Twinair. Increasing ranks of grandchildren were making rear doors desirable, so we looked for something that still had some character inside, and wasn't the usual uniform grey/black. We ended up with a 17 month old Venetian Blue 500X Multiair Lounge. The contrasting pale part leather and body coloured dash add the required splash of brightness inside, it's reasonably spacious and performance is excellent. The ride is a bit firm, but it is well damped.
Anything more I'll post on the 500X forum, but I'll still visit this one and contribute if I've got anything helpful to say.

I was about to retort that Dacias were built in Romania, but then remembered that some Dusters had started rusting at a young age, and these were built in India. Don't think they do a hybrid, though?

Mercky, according to what I've read, the Niro is made in South Korea, so I guess you are suggesting an Indian connection to the name. I don't know of one, can you educate me?

If it's not a Niro, we may need clues soon. Presumably it's something that is new and available in UK showrooms?

If it is a Niro, it looks an excellent choice.
