No, it sorta fits in to the two rear cup holders and is screwed in.

Re: Full leather interior swap

Today I decided to finish off the interior swap. The dash and all the internal plastic on my car are grey, the door cards that came with the leather seats were black plastic with black leather inserts. So I got my door cards and removed the cloth inserts and replaced them with the leather inserts and refitted the original door cards. It looks as if it came from the factory that way. I am chuffed with the results. It been a journey and I have learned new skills. One happy bunny. Just the abarth rear spoiler to fit now and I'm done.

Nice! Look forward to seeing some pics. What are you going to stick the spoiler on with?

I did the spoiler this afternoon, will let it set in the garage for a few days, time to bring out the insignia.Click image for larger version

Full leather interior swap

The Abarth spoiler, bargain, 47, was going to have in repainted cha cha azure blue, but think it looks good black. Big thank you to Typecastboy for all his help and advice.

Re: Full leather interior swap

We have a Renault Clio Initiale that we've had since brand new in 2001. It has a full leather interior and some woodwork too.

However, I'm not convinced about leather seats and I wouldn't want a car with leather seats again.

In the cold weather, they are freezing cold when you sit down, and in the hot weather, they get boiling hot.

Our Fiat500TA has nice red cloth seats. They are warm in the winter, and not over hot in the summer.

Just my two pennorth worth.
Mick.

Do you ever not have an opinion on something? Have you ever heard of heated seats or air conditioning? As of last weekend I own a 2013 BMW 3 series estate and it has heated leather seats and rather decent air con, you can even ventilate it remotely via an app on your phone on a warm day. The air con is rather chilly and the seats will happily roast your back.
