I've got a 2011 Lounge in Azurro Blue, a 2012 in Bianco white and I've only gone and bought this little dented beauty today.

This is the same as my previous Cat C, but much much less damage.

Well it's arrived today. Already found a new bumper in the right colour, new slam panel, headlights, DRL lights and a damn good clean needed as well as a few bits and pieces and a repair on the bonnet.

Lovely colour and nice wheels. Is it a Lounge? In the photo it looks like a painted metal roof.

Ah, sorry, just read your post more carefully, and from the front fogs the blue one look like a Sport.

nothing - SCRAP cars get crushed..

Yeah it's lovely. Being the same as the Cat C I did a year ago I just had to have it. It cost me £2850. 63 plate with 20k miles. I estimate it costing me about £800 to repair. Knee and steering wheel airbags have gone as well as the seatbelts and pretensioners. That's presumably why they wrote it off. Only a cat D though.

How do you repair it?
Looks like a damned big dent/crease in it.
Is it not easier just to replace it?

I think some of that is the light in the photo, it's not as bad as that. Easily repairable. (Not by me I hasten to add). I would never get a bonnet in this colour, it was a sheer stroke of luck that I managed to get a bumper in the right colour, so I would have to get a second hand bonnet at £100 then have it sprayed, both sides which would cost about £300, so a small repair and a blow over on this one is all that is needed. Should be around half the price.
