Hello Everybody,

I have a 65 plate 500 and i can get everything to work on my UConnect screen apart from the 'reply to message' feature. All calls are working fine and incoming messages but i cant figure out how to set it so i can reply to messages:confused: ... Can anybody point me in the right direction or help in any way? (Before anybody smart comments no i don't text and drive!! - this is why i want help!!).. :):)

The feature only seems to work on Android. I can't reply with my iPhone, but my Son had success with a Samsung S6 when we first got the car around 6 months ago.

AFAIK Blue&Me was developed by Microsoft, carries the Windows logo and the only major upgrade has been to improve compatibility with Apple products. Interesting then that one of its most wanted features only works with Android phones :bang:.

You couldn't make this up.

When the 500 launched, I remember thinking that this was an interesting system that would actually be quite useful with a few years more development.

Since then, Fiat have basically done nothing with it, and it now looks like a dinosaur in comparison with what other manufacturers are doing.

Don't get me started on why they still haven't implemented A2DP on Blue&Me.

Only it's not a question about Blue and Me.:)

For the OP, hopefully the following link works for the UConnect portal and you can find out what services are available on your phone. Likewise, message reading doesn't work for me with my handset but all other phone connectivity is way better than it was with Blue and Me.

Very useful and does bear out that Android does work sending standard text replies; whereas iOS doesn't.
