Hello,

I have a Fiat 500 2013, and my car has recently been showing me a warning sign on the dashboard. It says "check stop lamps." I already changed the brake light bulb because it was burned out, but after replacing it the warning sign didn't go away and it's now telling me to "check running lights." All the bulbs are working fine, the brake lights turn on, the signals do too, but whenever I turn on the night lights, the left side brake light doesn't turn on. What might the problem be?

Thank you,
Nancy

Hi and welcome, just to recap, you changed the brake light bulb, and it/they all now work?/you did check after fitting?
Has the check stop lamp warning gone?

Check the front running lights are on when started, now turn on the headlights, if its the same as in the UK the running lights will stay on but at much reduced output, if one is out in either state then its another new bulb
your car may have other running lights maybe rear I'm not familiar with the US spec, bottom line look for another light that's out with or without the main headlights on.
