Hi
An oldie here needing a little help to fix my problem please.
I recently purchased a 2010 fiat sport 1.2 . I don't use the Blue and me for my iPhone etc. However after 3 mouths ownership a message on the radio now says BLUE AND ME VOICE when I switch it on and I cant delete it? Also cannot use the CD player or the radio. Have I pressed a button unwittingly and caused this, is it a fault how do I delete it. Read a few threads but not found an answer I understand
All help appreciated
Regards Ian

I wonder is it stuck in pairing mode, you could try the old favourite of disconnecting the battery for a few mins and see if it clears it

Yes, I agree.
Disconnect the battery and go and have a cuppa.

Re-connect later, and then turn on the ignition and reset the date and time.
Hopefully your problem will have disappeared.

Good luck,
Mick

I've done that
And many thanks and radio now works ok. Have set time and date ok BUT the odometer is now flashing. How do I correct that ? Should I try disconnecting the battery again or ?

This won't fix the flashing but how old is the battery if you suspect it's the original replace it.

The battery is only 2months old and the correct one for stop and start. Everything ok until the Blue and me voice came on the radio which is now fixed
So any ideas how to stop the odometer flashing or do I need to take it to a dealer There must be a way of doing this Car although 2010 has only done 18000 miles and genuine .

Where are you cool bumble? You need a proxy alignment which I can do for free for you. Fiat will charge you £40 + VAT. Something has gone amiss and all the ECUs are not talking to each other. The flashing mileage is a symptom of that. Happy to help if you fancy a trip inside the M25

Yes, a proxi alignment is required ...............

However a year or so ago our 500 had a number plate light out. I took the cover off and looked at the bulb, but it was fine. The problem was the holder not in correctly and as I put it in, I reckon it earthed out whilst sorting it.

Next time I started the car, we had the flashing odometer. (n)

Having read about a proxi alignment on here, I resolved to get a PC laptop and the computer program. (we're AppleMac in this house) I eventually bought a secondhand Dell and bought the MultiEcuScan software.

Meanwhile, I tried disconnecting the battery for half an hour, and this did the trick! :)

Therefore, you have nothing to lose by trying a disconnection again.

Regards,
Mick.

Many many thanks for all your advice and help and especially typecastboy to offer a free fix. However thought I would try once more. Disconnected the battery(Neg) for twenty minutes then reset time and date and odometer has stopped flashing. WOW hope it lasts !
