Just wondering the difficulty behind fitting factory sensors to my car.

The generic kits are quite frankly **** and with my TFT speedometer it would be nice to make use of it for the parking sensors too. I understand that they connect to the CAN system of the car but does anyone have an idea about the wiring involved. ie does my car have any of the loom in place or would it all have to be done by hand?

I don't care about cost at the moment I just want to know anything that you guys have to shed on the situation.

I can't even find anything to show the location of where the ecu should go.

If you're not bothered about cost get a dealer to retro fit them?
I have no issues with my cheap £20 China kit it works fine vs probably £200 from your dealer.

The dealer ones aren't canbus they are equally the same as the Chinese kit.

I thought they were as each of the three sensors on my 2016 lounge display the differing proximity bar alerts in my TFT dash whilst in reverse.

Yours are factory fit not dealer retrofit
