Yani is trying his hardest to help me revert my speedometer to the sport style although he is not 100% sure how the car determines what dials to display on the screen.

If one of you guys with a 500S with a LCD Cluster that also owns Multi Ecu Scan I would be very grateful if you could upload the CAN information from your car so that he can see how a factory fitted one appears in the CAN system.

Probably a long shot but someone must have!

I understand your PM now. I don't have the new one unfortunately, but I'm looking for one.

I'm guessing it's going to be a longshot. I wonder what params the car relies on to know if its a sport or not very interesting because the 1.2 sport doesn't have anything different to the lounge/pop does it?

Not as far as I know, it's only the interior/exterior that are different. Engine is exactly the same I believe, so it's only on the surface it's different.

Probably you need information from a 500S with a sport button on the dashboard. With information from a 500S with an eco button the display might change accordingly.

Do the 500S' have sport buttons? I guess it'd need to be a twin air in that case.

Although yani doesn't know about the factory fit lcd cluster can info at all I don't think so any data from any car with an LCD would be a help.

A 500S with 85 hp TwinAir engine doesn't have a sport button. Instead it has an eco button. A 500S with 105 hp TwinAir engine does have a sport button though.

A 500s 1.2 has a city button, but they do have traction control. If you have a 1.4 I'd consider trying one from an abarth as they have sport buttons

Yani and I tried telling the car it has an abarth engine
I told my car numerous times, but unfortunately I can't convince it to go any faster.

Indeed I have a 500S with TFT display, but I don't have a working MultiEcuScan anymore, since my laptop died.

Nevertheless, can you explain what you want us to do with MultiEcuScan to get the requested CAN information?

Oh that sucks man!

I'm not sure if this is the most efficient way of getting the information from the car but if you go to Body and select CAN Setup/PROXI Alignment once connected there should be a log in C:\Program Files (x86)\Multiecuscan the log will contain the CAN data that we need. Looks like complete hexadecimal jibberish to me but Yani knows!

You could also go to the adjustments window then Ctrl+Alt+C to bring up the custom proxi data menu and just copy the data from the window. There is no need to execute the proxi alignment.

I'd be really grateful if you can when/if you get your laptop fixed!

The log file name is like this FESLog_1602121425_Fiat 500 1.4 16V MultiAir.txt

In fact if you have ever done a proxi alignment the log that you have from that'd probably do it.
