Hi, thought I would share with you how disgusting my seats were when I bought this car a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely filthy.

I have a domestic VAX wet and dry machine and the associated cleaning fluid. Why pay £45 for a valeting company when you can do it yourself.

Pictures below, before the clean, the dirty water and the nice clean seat afterwards.

I have a vax carpet vac with a upholstery attachment, however it did cost slightly more than £45 lol

Still once you've got it you never have to pay out over and over again.

Just to add to this, my Cat C project had a blown drivers seat airbag and it was going to cost £90 cash to repair. I had a look on a famous auction site on Saturday, just on the off chance and someone was selling a full set of front seats and both seat backs, exactly the same as mine which have been sitting in a garage for months.

They were absolutely filthy. Got the whole lot for £100, well chuffed.

I've just taken the Vax machine to them, and they've come up like new (pic attached). My wife is going to be so pleased when she gets home from work and finds car seats in the conservatory.

Well they have to dry somewhere.
