whats the best double din headunit with everything gps bluetooth audio, dvd, cd, radio. been looking at the major brands. thanks guys also if anyone from australia has some suggestion so i can buy it local.

just go to jb hi fi and have a look they have heaps or wait till christmas specials as they'll clear out old stock...

I really fancy one, but they are a bit pricey. Seen some on ebay from China, but a bit concerned about ordering one of those and it not working.

yeah i want one that works with the steering controls aswell forgot to mention that and yeah i was thinking about that my friend got a 500 sony headunit for 180

there is one here for the fiat 500 that works with it its 650aud but they are alittle dodgy charging 350 to install it.

It's a pioneer sph-da120 with Apple CarPlay and android mirror link, plug your phone in and run maps, play media straight from it.

Pioneer do some really good stuff had a double din one in my Suzuki for 5 years, great quality sound, worked perfectly until I sold the car, good Bluetooth call quality, excellent stable bluetooth streaming. Better than the OEM system in the Mazda by a margin.

so it works with a samsung galaxy note 4 blue tooth audio? and maps so i use maps on my phone? or does it have gps built in

With an android phone it uses 'mirror link' via the Mhl output to send your screen to the hdmi input, on my iPhone it links via usb and runs special versions of the apps and supplements the phones gps with its own receiver, you will have to research exactly how it works with android, there is a pdf off the manual on the pioneer site....

thanks has anyone used a sony xav-712bt

just went down to frankies which is a car audio place and they said i cant fit a double din into my car? any other suggestions?

Well as you can see it is possible lol!
They probably won't touch it as you have to cut the internal air ducting....
I did it on a 2 week old car, but I don't think I'd do it on anyone else's!

Someone has stolen your gear stick!

Pah! Who needs a gearstick when you can have buttons?

Could I ask what your radio function is like please?

It works really well, the only thing it's missing is DAB. Oh and the steering wheel 'talk' button, although 'hey Siri' works great.
