Hi guys im looking at getting smoked tail lights for my fiat 500s 2013 and a guy has them on his fiat 500 rockstar and he is telling me they wont fit on my 500s is that true?

In that case, while they'll probably fit physically, I would expect the reversing light and rear fog light will be transposed with the former on the right and the latter on the left; opposite to the RHD arrangement, . Be aware they're probably not legal here.

If they're made for UK market cars then the left/right setup would be the same as ours and I'd expect them to fit. Just bear in mind they might not satisfy ADR's.

There's no ADR issue with importing tail lights from the EU (E-marked). The rear fog will be on the wrong side, but as you aren't required to have a rear fog light in Australia you can just remove the globe. The reverse light can be on either side (most cars have two). Or yes, better yet get a UK market set. Bare in mind that a lot of eBay/ online parts aren't genuine and will be of a lower quality.
