Been thinking about this, possibly a pair of those s/s sill trims with 500 on them, so as to stop the scuffing when one enters the cockpit of doom, ;), and maybe ......possibly....... a chrome center bonnet strip., and maybe possibly.............one of the little ''twin air' badges for the back.

But what about things like mudflaps, fluffy dice:devil:, etc. and what has given you a little more satisfaction , (apart from a spare pair of door hinges)

can't work out from the pics, how they fit, do they overlap the rubber door seal moulding, and I presume the self adhesive , is of the ' you've only got one crack at this'' type.

UFI cames with the sill trims and TA badge :)

Like all sill trims I've seen, they don't really protect the edge that's most likely to be damaged, only the flat part that can only be damaged with extreme incompetence.

Just VHB double sided tape. Remove the backing, then replace it with only 2-3mm of sticky stuff showing. That way you can position it exactly and then peel the rest back on itself once you're happy.

A very handy tip that can be reused in loads of different situations (y)

I second UFI's comments about the sill 'protectors', I'm constantly removing scuffmarks from the outer sill.

Mine also came with the sill protectors and the Twinair badge but as far as 'factory' extras are concerned I've added chrome mirror heads, the bonnet spear and mudflaps. I know the mudflaps are reckoned to be pretty useless but I like the look.

Non-factory items are limited to a Zunsport grille and windscreen visor decal.

As an addendum to the advice on applying VHB taped accessories, It also helps to mark out the location with masking tape prior to applying the parts. This was especially true for the bonnet spear, where even a millimetre out would be obvious and there were no fixed reference points - it's all done by measurement.

what do you think the longevity of adhesive on the bonnet spear is. Hate for it to fall off, leaving a sticky centre strip.

Provided the surface has been properly prepared, i.e. clean, dry and wiped down with Isopropyl before application (a couple of pads were supplied with the spear), and the part's been firmly pressed down into place, it'll never go anywhere - even on a black car in the Australian sun. In case it was deliberately removed, no easy task, the residue would be fairly easily cleaned off with appropriate materials leaving no trace. I removed and re-applied my Twinair badge with no issues. VHB (Very High Bond) tapes are used in the glazing industry and a lot of the glass you see around you these days is so secured.

I know it is probably what you are looking for but I fitted a CAE Racing shifter to my abarth a few weeks ago...it's amazing.

I have a TWM shifter but it's steel cage makes it awful heavy, no the other hand the stock console and shift boot are retained. I'll have to think about the CAE one

You can put the console back on,you just need to trim it a bit.

I would really like a sunroof. I'm regretting not getting my 500 abarth without the sunroof ?

Firstly, don't bother with the iPhone/iPod holder that sits in the cup holder. It's crap and shoddy and breaks very easily

I had to have this:

Plastic box, full size of the boot with moveable plastic parts so you can make different sized compartments. It's something daft like £120 on some Fiat sites but I dropped on it on one of SG Petch's sales for £30. I love it because the shopping bags stand up and my umbrella isn't rolling around the boot. Husband can't see the point of it.

Also had to buy this:

To be fair it's usually got a Metallica logo drawn on it or a rude joke, but it is occasionally useful when I look up and see a reminder to pick up a loaf etc.

Very cool. Reminds me of that dog-ring gear shifter in the Biposto. I bet you get some pretty quick changes with that - must be highly addictive

I fitted an Armster armrest to mine and love it.
