I have had my 500c for 4 years now and recently there was a crunching sound as the electric hood closed. I noticed on reopening that on either side of the hood runners were black plastic sliders that guide the hood into place and push down or up the little wind deflector at the front opening. One of this clips appears to have a piece broken off and therefore not allowing the hood to slide smoothly into place. Can I purchase one of these clips and if so what would I ask for?

I'd suggest you take it to a dealer and show them and see what they have to say first.

I have just had that happen to my sliding top of my 2012 Fiat 500c. I was putting the top forward to close it and there was a crunching sound when two plastic parts fell on the back seat. Then part of a nylon cord fell out from under the lining. Since nobody has an answer for this except take it to the dealer, I am going to the dealer on October 7th 2016 and I will post what the problem was and what the fix is. I am sure that somebody else must of had this happen and you can be sure that I will let you know. Fiat Cutie Pie

The cabrio roof is exclusive to the 500 so there isn't much option when trying to source parts. The following recent thread relates to the same subject;
