yeah its interesting mine are at 400! lets see if it makes a difference = ) i found it from the porsche gt3 manual, first time i read about it. maybe tire manufacturers don't want you to know about it = )

Like can you specify what wear factor you want or do you just have to take what you get ? :shrug:

check it before you buy the tire. its funny because i was reading complaints of the Dunlop Sport Blu Response tires wearing out too quickly (the tread really does look soft), and i saw that it had a wear rating considerably lower than 400 (it was either 280 or 320 i forgot now). Not only that, the Dunlop Sport Blu Responses were 40 euros more expensive!

Unfortunately companies like Pirelli, etc rely on their brand name to do as they please. I have never heard of the Japanese producing low quality products unlike the Chinese so I trusted Toyo (i know also they were involved in racing etc) and went for it.
