Unfortunately not, hens why I've come on here.

Attached photo of the level last night. You can just about see the level next to the tab.

EDIT: Also forgot to mention that I often hear a gushing noise and the heater is taking longer than it should to heat up.

Just take the thing to the garage and get it fixed, before you do some serious damage to the engine. Your posts taken together suggest you have a leak somewhere and no amount of bleeding or topping up will fix that. If you are concerned that the garage may be trying it on (and tbh I can't see any reason from what you have posted to think that), you can always ask them to show you where the leak is.

If the coolant level has dropped to the point where the heater is making gurgling sounds, you risk ruining the engine even by driving it for a short distance.

The radiator and expansion tank are combined in one unit; a leak in either means the whole assembly will have to be replaced complete. Fortunately they're cheap (£50-£60 ish).

A new radiator was fitted and all has been well for the past few weeks. I checked the level everyday until recently.

Checked the level today, the first time in a few days and I'm sure it's gone down. It's only about an inch above the min mark. When I got the car back, the level was in-between the min and max markers.

I do check when the car is cold.

Going to check everyday again to see any difference and if there is, take it back yet again to the garage. They did tell me to keep checking for any possible air locks. Can this cause the level to go down?

I'm not going to be pleased if I've still got a coolant leak after a new radiator has been fitted!

don't keep removing the cap.. just shine a light ( phone / torch) down the side of RAD filler neck,
you'll see the level..,

moving trapped air from inside dash area WILL let the level drop, ( slightly),

but should still keep level above MIN. mark,

if it gets low top up almost to MAX. then refit cap and watch level again for days,

it SHOULD stabilise,

Charlie

if it doesnt go down anymore dont worry when i changed my water pump and timing belt we topped up the coolant to max at the garage, and the next day i checked it it was below minimum so i tooped it up myself and it didnt fall after that anymore.

I'm losing coolant.

Does anybody know what this pipe is? Looking at the radiator it's on the right near the bottom. Got a little puddle underneath it. Looks like it's come adrift from somewhere.

Taken car back to garage "B" and pointed out this leaking tube. Luckily it dripped as I was pointing it out. They've told me that garage "A" have made some bodged job putting some kind of bolt at the end of it!

Making sure that is the only source of the leak then I'm going to let rip at garage "A"!
