Anyone modified their 500? Let's see some pics.

I've done quite a few mods to my 500 Twinair - all using OEM parts.

I think my TA is more in the spirit of the original Abarth than the modern 'real' Abarth.

Just fitted these : )

My mods are mostly less is more. The goal is a 10% weight saving. Overview, with Marelli Carbon Antenna (this had to be modded and machined to be lighter than stock ).

I've done more but you get the idea. It's all logged in a spreadsheet, I'm up to about 35kg so far.

Wow! That's an amazing weight saving.

Or you can go on a very strict post-xmas diet ;)
At around 73kg for 6' there's not much room to move there.

I also have special light weight shoes, and wear light clothes :D

I like to track my MPG so the fuel tank gets filled, but I usually run it down to 0.5-1 litre remaining, otherwise it's like carrying ballast ;)

I keep the washer, overflow and oil all on the min marks though.

Mods to come soon: LiFe/ Supercap hybrid battery, TWM Shifter (way too heavy stock, I need to CAD the thing and have the cage CNC'd in alloy), Marelli 105hp tuning box, and I'm going to try my hand at Ti welding :)
