Yep that is one of my pet peeves -- I love getting closure and want to know if the suggestions/advice solved the problem or not. Still, I realise that most people have no interest in participating in an online car forum and just want to get their answers and run.

I wonder if people realise that there are exponentially more lurkers who read these forums and people who never register/post than there are actual posters? fiatforum often turns up in the top results when people google for answers to their FIAT 500 issues.
