My wife has just swapped her Audi A3 (ultra reliable for 8 years) for a 500 lounge 1.2 auto. We tried a Twinair but she much preferred the quiet 1.2 and isn't bothered about performance.
So far she loves it, and I like it too. We hired a 500 1.2 in Italy a few years back, and the new one steers much better. Our only reservation is the headlamps aren't wonderful, I'm checking bulb upgrades.

The forum looks good. I swapped my Audi TT for a Mini Cooper S earlier this year, and find the Mini forum too spread out. This seems much better.

My headlamps are fine.

You might need yours adjusted. Sometime they are not set correctly for example when I bought mine new the driver's side was higher.

On well-lit city or suburban streets I think the lights are 'adequate' but if I was doing country roads, or even outer suburban, more often I'd deff fit a pair of driving lights. Still might but I'm looking for a pair that will look right on the 500.

Of course, I've always wanted a VW Baja and thought why not use a 500 instead, like this guy:

:Sigh: If only I had more time, more money and less sense.

Hella's naturally, but perhaps a bit understated as compared to that! I had in mind one of those number plate bars for fitment, rather than drilling more holes in the bumper (those two larger Hella's look as if they're simply screwed into the body - funny angle). Unfortunately Hella have almost disappeared from the accessory shops round here, replaced by cheap Narva stuff.
