I have one fitted to my 1.2 pop bought the plate off ebay, it came with a series of elongated slots all over and you should be able with all these to line it up without any drilling to your tail gate.


If you do purchase one would advise to fit some gaffer tape all over front of surround frame to prevent rubbing eventually which shows through onto number plate.
