Dealer has called. Car is ready and it was indeed the back bumper issue

FYI, to get the Panda Cross mentioned earlier, it would cost us another £60 per month. No money down or anything, just the PCP transfer. Not sure TBH as love the little 500

nice one, so does it seep down via the rear footwells and collect at the front? Keep the 500 btw!

I'm not sure. The front drivers side was wet (seeping up through the heel reinforced pad) but the rest of the car seemed totally dry.

There's a TSB on it, referenced above so dealers are aware.

Leak sorted but as predicted, FIAT did not want to cover the cost of the repair under the terms of the year 3 warranty!!

This is despite a service bulletin being out there (not a campaign). The said the dealer should charge 0.8 of an hour for the repair.

However, full credit to the dealer. After a brief & very civil discussion, they said sod it & waived it

So, full marks to J & J Motors in Bridgend but boo hiss to FIAT who yet again are making it bloody awkward for their poor dealers....!
