I'm trying to find a European spec passenger side sun visor. This would be one that is on the right hand side of the car. My wife when she drives, likes to have a mirror on the sun visor . By sourcing a Euro version it might solve my problem. Can anyone out there recommend a site that might sell a spare like that? Needs to be European, not British.

My 500C Lounge has a mirror on the driver's side as standard. Oddly enough it's got a sliding cover on it while the passenger side one hasn't. You might score one here from a wrecker - or even Fiat if you're wealthy enough!

So a Lounge has a driver visor mirror ? Can you get a Lounge with a black interior as that's the colour I need?

Ps, funny you ask his. You beat me to the thread. I need a RHS one with a mirror, but for me as I shave on the way to work between lights. Don't ask, I am always running late. Getting up 5 minutes earlier won't help, I am likely to just snooze another 5 minutes :bang:

I have the cream ambience interior, not black

If you get the part number, you can order it.

I've ordered European foglamps in the past from Fiat (yellow lenses for French spec'.. :) ) and gear ratios from non UK models. Might take longer but they can (maybe?) do it.

What's the easiest way to get the part number?

On the old ePer CD you could look at part numbers for all models and spec's... or search for specific chassis numbers (so you could order the right spec' part for your car).

ePer is gone now.. (a 2005 version is linked to this forum .. blue toolbar at the top ^^ but it pre-dates the 500) but your friendly dealer might be able to look it up on the on-line system that replaced ePer, especially if he gets to sell it to you.

Otherwise someone on here might have access to the Fiat parts system and migth be able to dig it out.

Same here. But my passenger side visor mirror doesn't seem to be glass, it looks like some kind of reflective plastic? It's got a kind of hazy effect when you look at it. Weird.

It's not glass, probably polycarbonate - to the best of my knowledge all vanity mirrors are made of plastic now, my 1985 B2000 had a plastic mirror. That's why they scratch so easily. I've seen a couple of Fiat driver's side vanity mirrors with horizontal scratches suggesting grit or something has gotten under the sliding cover and/or it's been pressed against the 'glass' while sliding it. By the way, the Pop 500C also has the same driver's side vanity mirror so it's not exclusive to the Lounge.

I'll get a price from my local dozey dealer...assume all visors have the same fittings.

Hello – I can contribute my previous post on this very subject here…
www.fiatforum.com/500/303784-drivers-sun-visor-mirror.html

I have the tilt and slide roof on Ruby – it’s used daily as there’s always the possibility of dust, a tiny bug, tree crispies, the horrendous amount of particulates from anything diesel in front of me, getting into my eyes. Whilst saving up for my 500 I was driving a 15yo Peugeot 106 which had a mirror on the driver’s side, making me think all cars had them on both sides now – so it never occurred to me to ask about that when ordering mine.

I too did the obvious and thought ‘I need a left-hand drive, mainland European one then’ and Fiat Parts Department managed to get me one, it’s a visor with an inset mirror.

However what I really wanted was one with a sliding cover. So went into the car dealership showroom and asked if any models had it - I think it was a 500C in the showroom that had the covered mirror, so they looked up the chassis number, which then gave them the part number.

As the uncovered mirror was a special order, the parts depth couldn’t take it back and as I’ve not sold it, nor the plain visor, as of yet. If you’re interested I’d be happy to sell this to you – it’s the usual ivory ambience shade.

If not, the part numbers are:

visor with inset mirror: 735471267
visor with inset mirror and sliding door cover: 735497468

Thanks for the offer Curley, will check out the parts. I have a black interior so Ivory will not work - will try to source a black 500C visor with mirror.

Lifting an old thread.

Our LHD TwinAir Lounge only has a vanity mirror only on the passenger side (i.e. on the right side of the car). I understand this to be the norm. However, I am looking for a sunvisor with a mirror also for the driver side of an LHD car. Would anyone know the part number for the passenger side (RHD) = driver side (LHD) sunvisor with a mirror? If I am not mistaken, the above discussions are regarding an RHD car - i.e. the "wrong" way around for me. Any tips would be much appreciated - especially by the prettier half in our household :)
