Ok interesting ... It's a must here in Oz I'd say, light is much brighter here and winters not so severe so more freedom to tint windows here I suppose

Different conditions, different rules - which suggests an element of common sense on the part of the rulemakers.

There are plenty of dull days here in the UK where you need every bit of visibility you can get. I'm having one this morning in Bournemouth.

As Maxi says, sunglasses take care of the rest.

The UK is far worse for glare. Winter mornings are faaaaaaaar worse for glare than summer days in Oz where the sun is high.

Glare can definitely be managed with a pair of polarised sunnies, but tinting for me is also about keeping a lot of the heat out, and a good security measure, as prying eyes can't see into the car as easily when parked.

1. tinted windows
2. 500 side graphics
3. black side mirror covers
4. tinted tail lens
5. tinted indicator lens
6. blackened rims.
7. new solid billet satin gear knob with 6speed engraving
8. hmmm exhaust which one?
9.ordered genuine car mats
10. fuel lid....... thinking genuine abarth one...... thoughts?

1.OK
2. No
3. Black mirrors are a way of down specing the car, eg base Pops
4. Not legal, I'd never do anything to make my brake lights less visible.
5. Same as above really.
6. I think the stock S wheels are ugly. Black is a good way to hide them, but because if it's your only car, getting them blasted and painted takes are few days, I'd look at some light weight aftermarket wheels.
7. Personal choice, I bought a Marelli carbon fibre knob and decided it's crap, alloy knobs get too hot to touch in summer, so I'd go for piano black timber, delrin or carbon fibre.
8. See a local fabrication specialist
9. Too heavy as always I got the cheapest ones I could find, super light and at $10 I can just replace them as needed.
10. As above

I believe Psfiat The people OS think you are talking about tinting your windscreen too... :-/ but to clarify that is something that cannot happen legally! ;)

This is definitely true for cars with a dark interior, like mine.

so the verdict is
and again thank u to those who pointed out some bad ideas i had

1. tinted windows............. (yes done)
2. 500 side graphics ........... (yep going to get them.. with 500 on them. not abarth
3. black side mirror covers ..... (nope decided on carbon ones)
4. tinted tail lens................... nope
5. tinted indicator lens................... nope
6. blackened rims. ................. nope
7. new solid billet satin gear knob with 6speed engraving.... yes still looking
8. hmmm exhaust which one?............ yes still looking
9.ordered genuine car mats.......yes came with the car
10. fuel lid....... thinking genuine abarth one...... thoughts?...... yes still looking

3. black side mirror covers ..... (nope decided on carbon ones)

7. new solid billet satin gear knob with 6speed engraving.... yes still looking

10. fuel lid....... thinking genuine abarth one...... thoughts?...... yes still looking

3. Consider hi-quality vinyl (3M) and maybe apply some to the A & B pillars (I was thinking about this, but I went with the white trim kit)

7. Very, very difficult........ all the Abarth gear knobs are engraved with 5 speed and yours is a 6 speed AND with a reverse lift/lock - not suitable
Have a close look at this range as they will fit AND awesome quality

Here is one I prepared earlier
