the mad hippy on their home page puts me off


edit i put details in to find my nearest agent and its a garage that has been know to be dodgy since i was at school, not very reassuring.

there seem to be very mixed reviews on the net, it could be some don't like to admit when they have spent money on some thing that don't work or it could be some operators are better than others.

I can see how products\systems like this could be helpful in very modern direct injection petrol cars (like my Citroen DS4 200thp! :( )where there is no fuel washing over the inlet valves, hence you get huge carbon build up on them (have seen pics of cars only a couple of years old like VW's etc with major build up!), but on older indirect injection cars just using good quality fuel should do the trick as the fuel passes over the valves keeping them cleaner. (y)
 
I was going to Seafoam my Merc, but the head gasket blew. At about $20 for the DIY treatment, I've wasted more money on less before.

But terraclean doesn't go in through anywhere other than the injectors?
 
Hello,

Had my Car TerraCleaned 2 weeks ago Fiat Bravo 2007 1.9 TD having done 120000 miles

the process took 1 hour and cost 108 pounds

MPG - is now lower than it was before From 47 to 42 Average,

Acceleration - feels slow and sluggish compared to what it was previously o my lets overtake a lorry where is my power!!!!!!.

Emissions - UNKNOWN but i can assume them to be the same as before.

basically it was a waste of time and money none of the promises were met.

this might work on older cars that have been neglected but if you have your car serviced and put in good oil and fuel then i can guess your car is already running as good as it should.
