Well I'm old enough to know that I didn't know **** back thenOh dear maxi, now you are making yourself sound older than me (and somewhat condescending)

The way I wrote my post may have made me sound like a boy racer but I assure you that I know what I'm doing. You may have many years behind you but does that mean you won't get into a serious collisions? No, it just means you've been doing the same thing for many more years than I have. I'm not saying I know more than you, I'm merely saying that I don't get into my car in the morning and crash a few times before getting there

I really like the wheels on your 500 by the way twins
However could the 'others' in comments above possibly know your driving skills? Don't worry about proving yourself to anyone. My daughter is now 23 but I can tell you that even at 19 she could really, really drive! She was just a natural and could really feel the 'balance' of a car (without driving like an idiot) she knows the limits and has never crashed (unlike me at her age).
It's great to hear that you are a driving enthusiast and I can tell from your response to the comments that you will drive within your limits and enjoy your new 500 (without crashing) ; )
How many thousands of miles have you done in cars and how many different cars have you driven? Thanks, my sister who is 25 is a shocking driver, she has scratched the rims on her car multiple times and she struggles with clutch control. It's all about knowing the car you drive, inside and out, with all of its characteristics
Being over confident in your driving skills is probably the most lethal
Whilst kerbing wheels isn't the best, it's not really the be all and end all of driving abilityMy wife is a great driver too. She hasn't kerbed a wheel in 20yrs!!

I didn't realise you were ELL4EVER! You do realise that it's an offence to have two accounts!

I'm not sure if you think everyone younger than you can't drive or you have taken serious offense to one of my previous posts but I'm not about to get into a dick measuring contest or debate. Sure I may not be as old as some other drivers on the forums but that makes no difference. I'm a retail manager and I have 3 people who are my colleagues that are a lot older than me. Do I treat them as OAP's? No, I treat them as friends and equals.
Now let's do what twins (sorry I don't know your name yet) was trying to do a stear this ship back on course before we enter the maelstrom.
The thing is that with time and experience, most people come to the realisation that when they were young, they weren't nearly as good at driving a car as they thought they were.I'm not sure if you think everyone younger than you can't drive or you have taken serious offense to one of my previous posts but I'm not about to get into a dick measuring contest or debate.
