Anyone know if the Twinair has a cable or hydraulic operated clutch?
Mine just doesn't feel quite right. Needs to be completely fully depressed and given a second before you can engage reverse, plus occasionally feels a little notchy at the top of its travel. Once it went to the floor and wouldn't come back up again until I got underneath it to lift it up.
Maybe they are all like that? (apart from the getting stuck thing - but maybe that was the mats?) However, it feels a little like a clutch cylinder seal issue to me?

Which one? Slave is on the top of the gearbox under the battery tray. Master on the bulkhead behind the clutch pedal. Fed from the brake master cylinder reservoir.

Clutch bleed point is on the front of the slave.

There have been reports of clutch master cylinder failure, the main symptom being that the clutch pedal goes to the floor and stays there.

Great info. That is for this. Good to know I'm not imagining things. I'll get it looked at when it goes for service in a couple of weeks.
