Had to make a delve into the wheel well today to recover two rogue loose batteries that were driving me mad rolling around in there.

And I was rather shocked when I saw the wires for the rear parking sensors coming through a rubber gromit with no outer sheath on the cable just loose wires.

These look so easy to get snagged or damaged when removing the spare wheel, When Richard gets home tonight I will dispatch him with some plastic tape to wrap the wires but just thought I would mention this as I don't think this is very good and maybe anyone else with them should check as well to see if the wiring is this bad

(These are factory fit of course not some aftermarket thing)

Agreed. As long as there is a rubber grommet around the metal, it's all good.

Wouldn't harm to wrap them in some cloth tape.

Must be a 500 thing. On the Panda the wiring it fitted on all Panda's, so wrapped in the same stuff the rest of the loom is.

It's unlikely to get snagged in fairness though imo.
