Evening all!

I've ordered a small'ish under-seat sub for my 500. The manual states that it needs to be installed wired to the interior fusebox, to a connection providing 10A of constant power.

Can anyone tell me where the interior fuse boxes are in the 500? I don't want to wire it direct to the battery or run wires through the firewall if I can help it. Been there, done that... :chin:

Thanks!

This is from the 2008 500 handbook. It may be a LHD diagram, so the fuse box may be symetrically opposite.

<p>it's at the back on the glovebox, there's a small access panel <img src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" smilieid="1" class="inlineimg" /></p>

Thanks everyone!

I've went and had a look this morning and found the interior fuse box. No spare connections which is annoying but I'm not surprised with all things can-bus these days! Found the one in the engine bay as well but I don't see an easy way of getting through the firewall.

I was wondering whether I could use something along the lines of a fuse-tap. Anyone think this would work or is it asking for trouble?

Andy I've ordered exactly the same. Should arrive in the next hour!!

Ive used them on a few accessories but they need a fair bit of space round them for the wire to exit and be put the correct way round so they actually protect the item your fusing fit it the wrong way round it wont work properly and probably blow the fuse of the item your tapping into due to taking power off the fused side of the accessory your tapping into
