Today it's a rainy day - Weeeeeeeee, i couldn't stand this warm weather anymore - I really like it but it's Christmas damn it :p -

The driver seat got wet (a lot) when i opened the door to get in. Fortunately, after three hours the seat is dry with no any marks left.

Was i just lucky or it happened because they are still SO new?

As long as the rain water was clean it shouldn't leave anything behind been pure water.... Staining will come from any dirt within the rain so if the car is very dirty and water runs into the car taking it with you you might have issues...

Since your car is new Look into the various fabric treatments (since your in Grease i dont know what you will find to buy but in the the UK on Ebay you can regularly get hold of

Superguard Fabric protector http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUPAGARD-...re_Cleaning&hash=item4ab17ef8b0#ht_2348wt_932

(with that one you ideally want a Gas mask capable of filtering Inorganic vapours)

Autoglyms Life shine (product B)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Genui...re_Cleaning&hash=item2c6140154a#ht_2700wt_794

If your car seats do get stained all is not lost....

Thanks for your suggestions, all of these brands are available in Greece but on Ebay are cheaper. Being not able to open ebay at the moment (im at the office) I'm definitely gonna buy the Supagard Frabric Protection. I just checked on web how it works and its amazing!!!! Thanks a lot :)

As far as i am a fan of SONAX, i decided to go for this product. It creates a water proof - protective coat on fabric. I also got a mask because it would be harmful to apply it without one. If any of you has already used it , i would appreciate your feedback.

If I can make a suggestion.... DON'T do this yourself but pass to a garage you can trust. I bought supagurad and the fancy mask (below) in July this year but still have not done the job, may give a shot next year as its too wet and cold now... in the meantime the cloth has gone patchy to dark due to a full clean...

You will need gloves and closed eye protection too along with patience to mask the areas for over spary.

I may just take the car to my trusted dent repair/MOT station and get them to treat the cloth.

Sure, I feel sometimes its not worth the risk as these things catch up later in life.

May I ask how did you mask the palstics arounds the cloth or did you just wipe using a wet cloth ?
