Interesting. I should check whether the voice to text messaging function works with WP7.

I've got a Blackberry so not much has been working at all over the last few days, lol. :(

You're not missing out :p Tbh voice control is IMHO rather useless. I've done a few texts and a few searches with the voice control on my phone and

A. You look like a fool for talking to your phone whilst not on the phone
B. It's not really any quicker than just typing in your query.

Kind of seems like a gimmick more than anything if you ask me.

Maxi. I guess you have used it and not just looked at someone else's review?

The siri voice is not like anything else on any phone. You just talk to it the way you always talk.

All I can say is what it is like for me and I have been using it for just a day.
It is great for sending emails and text messages, all you do is say send a text or email message to the persons name and then what you want it to say, it will then read it back to you and ask you if it is ok to send it. That is great for me as I have to send lots of emails and now I can do it when I am in the car.
It will also read a text message to me.

I have just got back from the fun fair with my family, before we left to go my wife asked me when does it get dark..all i did was pressed the button and siri told me the sun sets at 6:04, yes i could have gone on the web to find that out or even got an app to look it up but this was just done in an instant.

The new camera on the 4s is very nice. I know a thing or two about photography and i am very impressed. The video camera is also great with the new antivibration you can get some very professional looking videos.

I understand the implementation is good and all :) But IMHO it's just not that useful. It requires coverage of course, I have a sunset app and it works offline. What if you're out in the wilds with no 3g and you really need to know when the sun is going to set tonight?

Like I said, fantastic implementation but a slightly pointless feature especially considering its reliance on 3g

Who cares when the sun sets, xenons will take over and the auto dipping mirror will deflect the xenons from behind. We should be more worried about the sun finally setting, 12/12 :(

Siri "please sell all my assets and book me 4 one way flights to Fraser Valley in BC, oh get DHL to pick up a shipment of seeds to grow our own veg for next 50 years".

RUI, is 16gb enough or did you go higher !!

16 gig is OK for me, my iphone 4 is only 16 gig and that had loads of free space on it. I got my phone offline so it cost £499, I think the 64gig is £699.
That is too much to spend on something that I don't need.

...you can also do that on Windows and Android phones by just saying 'sunset time'. :p Although I've never even set mine up because I'm lazy!

Siri is very impressive but Apple have made it out to be a lot more than it is. As they always do. Still, whatever floats your boat. On a side note, I've heard good things about the camera on the 4S too, but I've not had a chance to try one out yet! I'm pretty happy with my current HD video though so won't be upgrading any time soon. Especially as Minecraft Pocket is now available on the Android Marketplace. My life is complete! ;)

Anyways, that aside, it's good to know that it works with Blue & Me. Does it work 'out of the box' for both the car and phone or do you need any adapters?

The video stabilisation is great on the 4s.
Another good thing with iPhones is they hold their value.. I just sold my old iPhone 4 complete with marks where I dropped it and a few scratchers for £300.
So my iPhone 4s only really cost me £199 offline and unlocked, I will sell that when the iPhone 5 comes out.
