Well Stephen was a bit of a hunt

The team I was speaking about only have a few native Brits. The rest are Italian, Dutch, Chinese, French, Thai... So these people could be Brits living abroad.

When initially phoning up about snapped suspension springs on my Stilo, i called the 00800 3428 0000 number & it was answered in Italy. The girl sounded European (couldn't 100% say she was Italian but she wasn't British) & she said she was in Italy, took my details & recommended i emailed customercare.uk, which i did. The guy that then contacted me was definately in Slough, which is where Fiat UK is based. The vouchers that followed in the post had a Slough postmark.

I reckon it might be that the main contact centre is in Italy & then each respective country (or at least the UK) has its own head office with a number of customer service staff.

The 00800 number for Fiat is Pan-European so it'd make sence it all gets answered by one contact centre. If the problem is more country-specific or requires further investigation then they can refer the customer to the staff in their own country.

FGA Capital does indeed appear to be based in Leeds, so if your query is finance related you will probably speak to someone there.
