In process of ordering new TwinAir Lounge to replace my BNW 08reg 1.2 (going for Rock n Roll blue, red leather, and white ambiance - following on from a previous thread).

Just wondering if anyone has an image of their 500 with the chrome bonnet line and A fitted? Any colour - not fussy - just to see what they look like together (may be a bit too much to ask seeing it on a Rock n Roll Blue as it's not one of the popular colours).

If I was ordering a new one I probably wouldn't order it but the 'special edition' model that I am fortunate to have, it looks the business in my opinion. But then the person who speced it for me went the whole hog with A-bar. I would be looking to replace the 'free' advertisement surround number plate - have bought a chrome one for the rear. Not too sure how it would look on the R&R colour. I let the picture speak for itself...

Chrome bonnet and A prob not suited to RRB colour, however blends in with lighter colours like Multispokes. Rest of chrome will be fine, anyway its a personal choice.

I have to say it works better against funk white than against red (for me).

Agreed. If my car had come with either that or the a-bar then I'd have taken them off. It takes the 500 from being cool retro to being over the top retro

I had my heart set on both whilst waiting for my car. As many already know (multispoke and maxi 306 esp) I have a rock and roll blue1.2 Lounge. Now I have the car I've decided against the chrome bonnet line and am undecided on the A-bar. It's just that I really like the way my car looks at the front and don't really feel I need to rush to change it. I may put an A-bar on in time for something new but I'm happy as I am for now. So I think get your car and see how you get on... I'm on my dad's computer and it wont let me load any pics for you, but have a look in my Garage gallery to see some pics of the RRB in the sunshine. There's a couple of the front, you may see what you think from these.

As someone says it's a really personal choice. Precisely. I want a 500 that doesn't look like everyone else's (hence a move away from BNW). Personally, think the detailing is a good nod to the original 500s.

I'll post some pictures up when it's delivered. Always good to get a reaction!

I think your car will look great Really classy combo you've chosen and the extra chrome will look cool I have the chrome bonnet strip on my Abarth. As you say, being individual is part of the fun.

My garage pictures show my mod blue car with all the chrome, but you've made your mind up already.
