Technical Ordering locking Wheel Nut Key

Get real Rob, Stu aint a master alloy thief. If he knows that, I'm sure anyone who steals alloys for a living will be the one who made the info available.

Stu's the very reason I don't post my reg or where I live on the forum :p

Hi people, I was wondering if anyone could advise me, after a recent oil change at dealers they informed me that my tyres were getting near legal limit But I can't find my locking wheel kit, I suspect its lost as It was used when front tyres were changed over a year ago. So I went to order a new kit while at the parts department who informed me that without the code card (located inside the black box which held the key), My only hope was for them to drill out the locking nuts at £56 an hour. I guess my dealer was one of the dealerships who didnt buy the master sets. Anyway I read somewhere in one of the other forums that one of the tech guys suggested PMing him with a chassis number and reg No.(to confirm its the genuine owner) and a pic of the offending nut and they could Identify the type and code so the guy could order it up from fiat again. Could anyone help.

Might have been me. :D

However, I no longer work at a Fiat Dealership, and although I do have contacts there, it'll take a while to sort it out. :(

i don't know if Chris @ Souls may work at a Dealer who bought a master set? Might be worth asking him. ;)

Can't you just order the code card for a few pounds from their parts department!

No, you're thinking of the Keycode card. The locking wheel nut tool number is kept in the box and is not officially recorded anywhere, even with ISR.

The only Dealers who will be able to help are those who bought the master set, as the tool numbers and ordering details are inside the case. There's no documentation or technical info available from Fiat to any who didn't buy the set.

Thats what Im hoping (crossing fingers) that Parks in East kilbride have a master set..... I'll find out tomorrow - either that or its hammer time!

Why? When I've already said I can get hold of the info you need to order a new tool (probably Sunday afternoon)?

The cost of 4 new wheel bolts will be far more than a new nut tool, unless you're happy to drive around with only 3 holding the wheels on?

Sorry D4nny8oy, didnt get what you meant, thatd be fantastic if you could, Id really appreciate it. Any details, pic of nut etc. you need I can email to you.
Yeh better put those "Parachute trousers" away then.

Thanks again - I just received my wheel nut key in the post and it was exact to the old one - bang on the money! got wheels off no problem. Thanks dannyboy

Resurrecting a thread again, but for good reason, ordered a guy from these guys on Thursday, arrived through the door today and it fits just fine :) Called up a stealer and they wanted 40 quid for a key.

Came in handy for me, Ive used the company twice now as fiat garage dummy'd up my last key. good fast service too.
