Hello.
I am about at 8000 km with my Fiat 500 1.4 Dualogic, and over the last around 6000 km, my average consumption is at 7.8 l/100 km. (36 MPG).

How are others doing with the 1.4 i wonder?

My 1.4 Dualogic returns 40/41 mpg on motorway and A road journeys driven at whatever the speed limit is and with air con on. :):D The cars milage is 5000 miles.

i'm doing about 6.2 - 6.8 lt/100km. i reset everytime i fill up. mine is not dualogic but it shouldn't make a difference, it has 21000 km on the clock but consumption was about the same since the fist day. so it's either you are driving too fast or you waste your fuel in traffic jams. 7.8 is too much!

Only got 2200 km on the clock so far but here is my list so far:

First tank: 8.4 l/100 km
Second tank: 8.2 l/100 km
Third tank: 7.7 l/100 km
Fourth tank: 7.4 l/100 km
Fith tank: 7.0 l/100 km
Sixth tank: 6.8 l/100 km and almost empty :)

This is mostly city driving. As u can see the numbers are improving each fuel up. I find these numbers pretty good considering its cold here wich is not helping with good fuel usage.

Edit: I don't have dualogic.

When we first got it with 2500miles on the clock it struggled to break 40 on a run. Now (at 25000 miles) it does 44/45mpg on the motorway at 65-70mph and about 37/38 if using it 'hard'.

I average between 35-37mpg on my weekly runs. I do 80 miles 3 days a week at 70 and a fair bit of in-town driving too. With the snow it's gone down a bit with the detours etc.

Mine's a 1.4 manual with just over 10k on the clock.

My average comes to 42mpg from my 1.4, has 10,000 miles on the clock. This involves a fair bit of town driving, mixed with a motorway return trip of 50 miles every weekend (100 over the weekend)
Best i have had is 47mpg from a long motorway run returning from Oxford to Scotland

Ok guys this is absolutely amazing.
Ever since I changed my tires from 195/50/15 to 185/55/15 and went from Michelin 'F' rated fuel consumption tires to Toyo 'C' fuel consumption rated tires my fuel economy has improved by like 10%. Absolutely amazing. I am on course for my record tank from my first tank with the new tires!
They are also much better than my Continental Premium 2 185/55/15 that came stock with the car.
It really seems new 'fuel efficient' tires are making a good difference in the world.
