For a couple of days I have only been able to open the driver's door from the inside and yesterday the whole central locking seized up - I had to leave Frodo unlocked in Sainsbury's car park. Fortunately the problem corrected itself by the time I was home and the car is now safely locked on the driveway - I think ... it's buried under the snow! :D

It happens. The other day it was so bloody cold (-5) that I had to force my key into the fuel filler cap to get it in. People seem to think modern cars will just work whatever but the laws of physics still hold true and if it's cold enough and there's a bit of moisture about things will freeze up.
