There's loads in london... I'm seeing a good three or four on my bus home every day... and every once in a while a 500c pops up. :D

They've all been sold... but nobody gets them delivered....

Probably all sat there in a huge field somewhere whilst they process the statistics :bang:

GIVE ME MY CAR !!!! :yuck:

How long have you been waiting? I ordered mine 4 weeks ago today and i already can't stand the waiting! I really want to call my dealer to see how it's coming along but keep putting it off incase there's no news!

LOL hilarity. So Fiat have spent the money to build cars but just don't want to deliver them to the customer so they can get paid for them? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

I think they want us on our knees begging for these cars.... :worship:

If a car was instantly available from stock people would wonder if they should cancel their orders because the car wasn't popular, and then complain that the brake disks were rusty because it had been standing in a field.

I waited 8 weeks for my 500 Sport and 7 weeks for my Abarth. I was told on both occasions that it could take up to 12 weeks, so anytime earlier is a bonus.

YES I NOTICED IN ONE PAPER IT WAS THE SECOND MOST WANTED CAR.
RANGE ROVER WAS NUMBER 1:confused::confused::confused:
I WILL HAVE TO CHECK MY ORDER DATE...:yum:

As for the car becoming the 10th most popular, I think it's time to upgrade to an Abarth in that case...:devil:

We could do without yet another post containing any/all of the following sentiments:

OMG I'm going to kill myself/the dealer/fiat/the universe/etc because my car is 4/6/8/12/16/18/20 weeks away and the dealer initially indicated that my car was only 2/6/8/10 days away and oh why oh why didn't I just pick one in the system even though that might not be fair to someone else and can the dealers really swap orders around, that doesn't seem fair does it, is it fair, what about scrappage scheme, I read that scrappage cars get priority and if so then its the end of the world and I'm going to have throw my toys out of the pram again and scream at the dealer and then just buy a Renault instead but oh my god will I lose my deposit if I do that because I don't know if I can stand that, perhaps I should call a lawyer because they might be able to sort it out and its such a pain but wait the dealer said I could get a diesel one quick, maybe I should get a diesel one because possibly the diesel is really the way to go or maybe it was the 1.2, but what about the 1.4, I could have the 1.4 in less time but I'll only be able to get it in new orleans blue and that's a pants colour but it looks ok on the panda just not on the 500 because it's already used on a panda, oh god why won't they bring back puke green or dull gray or whatever it was called, I like the Abarth, maybe I should get an Abarth but its not cheap to insure, oh god what should I do?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Those type of threads. Less of those threads please. They're old. And while I'm on a rant:

Order your car. In the colour/spec/engine you want. Wait for it. It'll take some time. In this time, do not second guess yourself. Just wait quietly and the car will arrive. Eventually. The wait will seem long. We all felt it. Some more, some less. But it's a new car coming from overseas. Wait patiently. It will not kill you. When it does arrive, read the manual and check out the Blue&Me threads to understand why your phone/accent/usb stick doesn't work with Blue&Me. Then go drive it already. Yes, it does need some revving and yes it loosens up after a bit. When it needs oil, put oil in it. Yes, they all need oil. More than you'd think. Before the end of the first year put it in for a service. Regardless of miles or how long you think/read in the paper/learned in 1978/heard from a mate about service intervals. Put it in for a service. Please put it in for a service. For the love of all that is good and holy put it in for a service and please do not post about it unless the dealer gave you a free Abarth for a month or Godzilla attacked the whole dealership while you were wondering why the waiting room doesn't have coffee, tea, computers, free space flights, etc like the Audi/VW/Lexus/Rolls Royce dealer you're used to. When the car comes back from service resist the urge to post about the bad service you had/good service you had/fingerprints on the dash/cost of oil/length of time you waited. Yes, we know, servicing is expensive. Yes you can keep warranty and have it serviced at a VAT registered garage using original Fiat parts for less than a main dealer. When you get it home if your particular illness is spending all weekend detailing the undercarriage in a clean room whilst wearing surgical gloves then cool, post pics. Do not complain that the dealer does not adhere to the same exacting standards. When it comes time for tyres, buy the same ones it came with. Fight your natural instinct to post a what tyre thread. There have been many and they are all full of opinions. And you know what they say about opinions.
