Evening all

For those interested I'm looking at the doors on the 500 at the moment, for the purposes of sound insulation. With the cards removed the increase in road noise is very apparent; how much I'll be able to improve this I don't know.

With the door card removed (c.5 mins) the Interscope front drivers were revealed..., quite nice looking polypropelene coned drives.

I've found the doors to be OK, it's the rear panels that are causing problems in mine. They rattle like mad as soon as you turn the volume up even a little bit

Hi Lloyd, my exploits are more to reduce road noise than anything else. Have you tried filtering the rears, say HPF @ 200Hz?
