Oh boy! i just bought one, waiting for it to be delivered! Very excited but it's not the Esse Esse. Why does he want to sell it anyway if he's just bought it?

I need to test drive an Essesse to see if I am going to upgrade mine. I really do think I will, but mines only got 150 miles on it so still not run in yet.

he probably ordered it thinking there would be massive demand like there was for the stock 500 so he could make a tidy proffit

I have done 500 miles with mine now and I think that a remap would be the best investment. Suspension is good any harder and it would become tiredsome.

Tend to agree, we are heading that way with ours. Unless you want to go silly on the track theres no point in doing the suspension, There was a demonstrator on track last week doing sessions back to back with stock brakes & the driver, an experienced racer said he didnt detect any fade & he was driving the nuts off it. Only 2 things passed us, a Mclaren Mercedes & a GT3 RS, he was beating the Elises but his skill had a lot to do with it. Also the suspension was more than adequate, it developed a slight lean & then just went round the bends. I also think the wheels with the Essesse kit look a bit "Halfords for a Nova"

He bought 2, one for him and one to sell !
i want it so bad to replace my 1.2 but not got the spare £££
i wonder if the standard turbo that was taken off would fit on my 1.2 or would it only go on a 1.4 ?

also i think he may have the 2 boxs of goodies taken off the standard abarths to sell ! since i know with the extra kit they give you a box of goodies back !!

Where was that then?
I agree with the brake fade but the tyres are another matter. There's enough people out there saying that the suspension upgrade has improved the ride that I will be at least investigating the difference first hand in the near future.

You ever noticed how your 1.2 is an 8v and the 1.4 is a 16v? That should answer your question... at least not without a different manifold, pistons, etc...
