(G) Alarm query and names

Does anyone know for definite whether the Fiat fitted alarm is Thatcham Cat 1 with ultrasonics? I'm tempted to add it to my order...

It's starting to feel real, now - anxiety is fading (thanks guys ) very excited about Wed and that's only the day she's due in the UK. Starting to think of names, but I will wait until I get the reg. My Husband suggested Florence as in "Florence the fabulous Fiat 500". Not convinced

Imobiliser only fitted, not Thatcham category alarm. Alarm option is a dealer fit

The one i ordered is thatcham 1 combined with the original immobiliser ,built in to the fiat remote control,and yes dealer fit so ask your dealer!!

Yeah the accessory alarm is Thatcham cat 1 approved!

Bossa Nova White, 1.2 Sport, 16" O spoke alloys, black roof/bonnet stripe.

Any ideas?

Yep, comes from my neck of the woods it appears.

I figured - if she was going to be black - that 'Wednesday' would be a pretty good name, as in the girl from The Addams Family and the day you collect her. Might still work as you have black stripes

Hi Mrs B and welcome - I like the name Florence .. Little Flo - it is Italian afterall!

the car with no alarm is thatcham cat 2
the car with the alarm is thatcham cat 1 (only if fitted by the dealer)
have a read through the post's, most people will find the cost of the alarm outways any saving's on insureance, BUT you will have the peace of mind if anyone tries to molest you'r lil 500 it will make some noise.. if you go for it make sure you get the free radio controlled 500.
