What do people think of the standard window tints i.e. rear section of the car? Has anyone had the front ones done to match - I presume the rear tint is not that dark so you should be fairly ok with the law doing the fronts to match?

Personally its all the windows or nothing - rear only just looks a bit odd on this car. All windows + skydome i.e. in the brochure(!) would look great.

WHITE 500 has had his done (see below) and I'm considering it.

I thought it was illegal to have any tints on the front half of the car?

As for the rear tints, I don't think they make that much of a difference, unless you're really looking for them that is.

My wife's 500 hasn't got them but I have them on my Audi A6 - I thought it was only the fair thing to do, given my kids are so ugly :D

For vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985, the light transmitted through the windscreen must be at least 75%.The front side windows must allow at least 70% of light to be transmitted through them.

The rear side and back windows can be tinted to any level.

Couple those figures with the fact windows already stop a % of light getting through and your left with very little to play with if you want to stay legal.
