Second Hand 500s - Pricing

Hello all,

Been reading this forum with interest. A couple of 500 related questions before I head to the dealer:

1) I am 6'2" - will I fit in a new 500?;

2) I am looking to buy in December, will I have a better selection of second hand lounge models and if so at what prices! Is everyone trading up for a Abarth

3) How easy is it to change the speedo for MPH to KPH.

I'm 6'2", and the three 500's ive test driven so far have all been great to drive. Plenty of room, and no reach problems with the wheel or pedals.

1: 6,3 and I only have the slightest of problems on cars with the skydome.

2: Yes you will have a better selection. Although that doesn't mean there will be a good selection.

3: Has anyone tried that yet? Why would you want to change it to KPH anyway?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I had originally wanted the sunroof, but decided against it when I sat in a lounge and my hair (its spiked) was touching the roof.

second are about or buy a pre reg like me and save lots of money

Are there pre-reg around at a discount?

My nearest Dealer (AC Dundee) had a few ex-Demo and pre-reg 500's but I didn't think they were that much cheaper than buying new.

Im around 6'4 aso ive not driven a 500 but i thought it wudnt be possible 2 drive comfortably in one im suprised at that

the seat drops down and plenty off head room

I didnt even know there was a seat behind me, thought it was a luggage area

..... my wife's driving seat.....

Ahhh fair enough well ill test drive the 500 Abarth and see how it compares to the GP Abarth then i will make my decision

I am pretty sure you can change from mph to kmh within the computer menu on the dashboard. However, I am not 100% sure as I only went in there the once when I 1st got the car to make the day lights stay on and the doors lock automatically.
