How many remote keys

New on here, my wife got her Ex-demo 1.3MJ Lounge with 16"wheels, chrome mirrors, side strips with 500 badges, fogs and climate control in cha cha azure on Wednesday.

Brilliant car, we both love it.

One question how many plipper keys should we have, we were only given one plus a traditional key. Should we have two...dont want to go ranting at the dealer if we shouldn't!

All current model Fiats only come with one remote key. Sorry

Any idea on how much another plipper is going to cost?

Can you do that then? what information do they need to get a spare? I'm a bit paranoid about losing my main key.

It will vary from one dealership to the next, but circa £150.

like most remote keys they are programmed by the stealers these days
as they have a rolling code ,not sure if 500 has a rolling code

Makes you sick, to only get one remote key concidering how much you pay for the car.

Yes rolling code & reason only the 'stealers' can do it is security! You cannot get a key without personal ID/proof of ownership. How many code 2 cars get stolen thesedays...none! How many non-code 2 system cars get stolen.

£150 is not profit.......infact its around £20-25.

its not really the garage that makes profit in the garage i work its 120 euro for a key and 70 for the code card and very little is charged for the actual coding of the key
