| Moderator  | What to do with my plate? I have this plate N500 BLU, been trying in vain to sell it but no takers even at a slight loss to me  So, shall I just put it on the 500, I know its orange but it was for a blue one!!!Will it look daft or will most peeps not even notice?

| Re: What to do with my plate? Nuovapanda so glad you got your car I am not a leather seat fan but that combo of orange and the lovely vintage leather is a winner LOVE IT  Just use the plate nobody will think it's the colour they will assume it's your name it will look great on it.

Could you not sell it at DVLA auction? personally, I think it would irritate me if anyone asked me what the BLU meant, it would mean recalling the story of horribleness of the dealings with the little blue 500 which wasn't to be You need N500 TAN

I'd love a numberplate like that but no way hubbie would let me after forking out all that money for the car! I've only just persuaded him to let me buy the car mats edged in ivory (although haven't ordered them yet - will be an excuse to phone the dealer at some point!). Yet to see your little beauty zipping around - must take a drive round your way to see if can spot it!
