Fiat 500 picnic

Just a few pics of the picnic yesterday.

It was a nice laid back event. The 500s were parked up all together in various places and the picnic area itself was strictly pass only, not too packed out, and the sun came out and stayed out for the day.

Alex Zane, cool dude from Channel 4, hosted the day, explaining all the different 'zones' and what was going on/where and was generally witty.

There was a stage with big screen and music all day, the guest band played a couple of live sets, with a separate area where you could watch F1 qualy and tennis.

It really was a BIG picnic - with loads to do for the family - with yummy free food and plenty of drinks.

Spotted Martin Fry from ABC too.. at the end of the day he got in the BACK of the car (daughter's?) and he is VERY tall!

A car was won at the end of the day too by the balloon release.

Yes I know - seen hardly any 500s on the road - it was AMAZING sight to get so many, all different, 500s parked up smartly - ganging up together!

It was all thanks to MissSporty who gave me her winning ticket, who I hope to return the favour one day and meet up with to say thank you in person..
