just seen on Top Gear, the 500 was in the 'sub zero' section, right at the very end of the cool wall too, obviously one of their favourite cars at the moment!

LOL well tbf I don't think my opinion of the 500s coolness would be welcome here...lets just say its on a par with a certain very unpopular (on here at least) german car also pretending to be a great car from the past and I find both to be somewhat fatuous.

, the 500 is fab, even if in my opinion slightly to small in the back, but they it's keeping the charecteristics of the origional

what i dont get about top gear.......ye i did see the 500 on the cool wall BUT when did they stick it on?:S it just appeared there in the background.im sure they didnt stick it on when they reviewed it.

ALSO....in one of the episodes jeremy clarkson mentioned a punto mk2b....btu when did they review the car?iv seen every top gear episode and never saw it being reviewd.aswell as the grande punto. its up there on the cool wall but when was it reviewed?:S

They dont have to review them its purely down to weather or not Jeremy thinks its cool, and in this case hes right! Of course, once he sees them being driven by estate agents and the like, itll head west too!

We saw it too last night, a white 500 to the right of JC's head, for about a second, (definitley wasn't a Nissan Micra!).

I don't remember seeing the episode when they actually put it on the wall though. And just because James May drives a Panda doesn't make it less cool than seriously uncool - bring it back East!

i can understand why the editors felt the need to cut it, there's was probably no debate, it's just cool! hehe! that's probably how they got onto the panda. if you watch on bbc iplayer you can see when the 500 magically appears on the wall.

I noticed it on the sub-zero wall too ... my hubbie paused the tv so we could check it really was a 500! WOW - i'm getting my first properly cool car!
