(G) Sport Interior

I have just been to see my 500 now it has arrived at the dealer, as they wanted me to see the interior. Its a standard sport interior but everything that is black "leather" in all the other ones I've seen is actually a kind of vintage brown! I quite like it, kind of sport retro thing going on, but the guy said this is what Fiat intended the interior to be like all along - just couldnt get the suppliers. Anyone know anything of this?

the brown is and always was an option on the sport, think he's telling you a slight lie there because you'r car has come with a different interior than they expected,

Sounds like complete bull. But of course it might well be nicer anyway.

Ah.. the truth as seen by a car dealer...

On a better note I've seen the brown trim and it looks pretty good, just be sure you like it before you accept the car

should the sport have the "secret" space under the passenger seat because mine hasn't

How does this "secret" space work? My dealer did show me on a cloth trimmed lounge, but I can't prise my seat open on my Lounge spec with leather.

Does the underseat storage come with the leather or is it just me doing something wrong?

Perhaps he knew though, but really wanted you to buy the leather? When I found out that leather took away the cubby I was quite disappointed to tell the truth, but I only discovered this by accident when I asked this question directly - as in; 'do I still get the storage box with the leather option?'

I find I keep asking questions of salesmen and they are sometimes able to give me the answer, but info is seldom volunteered. Shame, because we'd trust them more...

Still, the leather looks lovely and does make the 500 very special. If I found I'd got it I'd still be very happy.

why not go back to the dealer with i have thought about it and dont like the brown, infer they have messed your order up, you dont want to wait any longer so you will take it at a discount..

500 sport owners does you'r car have the under seat cubby fitted to the passenger side? leather is a definate no, how about standard sport cloth the sales brochure says it should but mine hasn't has your's ?

Yep, with the standard Sport seats. You lift up the front of the seat a few inches and then you can lift the back of the seat squab to reveal the storage space.

Yup. Mine too. Lift the front, than slide up and there it is! Very handy for sunglasses and sat nav.

another member has said if you have interscope ( i have ) you lose the secret storage any more info on this
