Re: Sport Interior

Just to point out, we have leather in our sport and it has the underseat storage.

You lift the front section of the seat first closest to the dashboard which allows the rear of the base to lift up then.

Are you sure you have the leather option £600 and not the standard part leather look alike available as standard in the sport models?

Re: Sport Interior

took the car back to the dealers and they "discovered" although i told them my car has no underseat storage thay are contacting fiat uk to ask why as it is standard on all trim levels and it is part of the u,k basic spec so can't be removed from an order i can't see it being the interscope as another forum member has interscope and the cubby

Re: Sport Interior

White 500.

Let me know how you get on with this. I am picking up my 500 Sport with Interscope and I'll be pretty 'miffed' if I find that the underseat storage is deleted on mine.

Nowhere does it say this in the brochure.

Fiat sales staff are pretty clueless about the Interscope system - because they have not seen many yet and nobody seems to have briefed them about it.

Re: Sport Interior

On a LHD car the Interscope sub is under the passenger seat - so the underseat storage WOULD have to be deleted.

On a RHD car the sub position is unchanged (under drivers seat) so I can see no reason for deleting this option on the passenger seat for UK models.

There is probably an instruction in the manufacturing programme which says 'if sub fitted delete seat with storage'. (Essential for LHD / a cost saving for RHD).

I suspect that nobody thought to mention this in the English brochure or to tell the UK dealers.

Waiting to hear from my dealer about this BEFORE I collect the car.

White 500

Any news?

My dealer checked my car out today (I take delivery Friday). They confirmed no underseat storage - hoped it 'would not be too much of a problem'.

They have taken this up with Fiat Customer Service - will see what they have to say.
